Wreath from grocery bags

I have seen many different wreaths made from grocery bags and I decided to make my own for Valentine’s Day. I started with a wire heart shape that I made out of some electrical wire we had leftover from some work we did in our house in Texas.

002

Then I cut up my bags-16 total (there is a tutorial here) and tied them on the wire.

003

It took about 3 hours to get them all tied on. Then I added a velvet like ribbon from some ribbon I got on clearance after Christmas. I LOVE the way this turned out. I will definitely be making more wreaths using plastic bags!

019

Hope everyone had a great weekend!

Chris
